Leveraging Central and Southern Taiwan’s superior solar irradiance, Chenya Energy is dedicated to repurposing restored landfills into productive solar power plants. This initiative drives a “triple-win” outcome: sustainable land use, environmental revitalization, and renewable energy production.
By integrating solar infrastructure with former landfill sites, Chenya Energy maximizes land utility, transforming dormant spaces into valuable energy hubs. This project officially commenced commercial operation and was grid-connected in December 2021.
Building on the successful transformation of this idle site, Chenya Energy leveraged this facility to sign its inaugural Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) in 2023, successfully executing its strategic green energy sales plan.
